Day by day Itinerary
Day 1
BeijingYour guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel located in the city center. You will have a 6 pm group meeting at your hotel, and there will be more information about the details of the trip, followed by an orientation walk and dinner at a local restaurant.
Beijing is the capital of the P.R. China. The city, located in northern China, is governed as a direct-controlled municipality under the national government with 16 urban, suburban, and rural districts. As a city combining both modern and traditional architecture, Beijing is a megacity rich in history, exemplified in its global influence in politics, economy, education, history, culture, and technology.

Day 2
BeijingToday, we’ll begin exploring the famous sights of Beijing. There will be a lot of walking today as well as using the public subway to get around.
After breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and take the metro to Tiananmen Square, one of the world's largest public squares, home to the Monument of the People's Heroes and the Great Hall of the People. The breadth and scale of the site are astounding.
Then, it’s off to the Forbidden City, built from 1406 to 1420. As the ceremonial and political center of the Chinese government for more than 500 years, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. It is home to the most extensive collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.
After the Forbidden City, we’ll stroll through the alleys formed by lines of traditional courtyards known as Hutong and experience the local lifestyle of Old Beijing.

Day 3
BeijingAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and visit the Great Wall’s Mutianyu section, one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall with 22 towers winding along the mountain ridges.
Spend quality time exploring and learning the history of the Great Wall of China while enjoying the view of Huairou county, the suburban area of Beijing.
Bring a picnic lunch with you to enjoy it on top of the wall during a break. There’s nothing like a small meal in one of the world’s greatest icons.
Afterwards, we’ll drive to a local village school and spend time with the students to gain an understanding of life in rural villages away from the modern cities of China.
In the late afternoon, you will board the overnight train to Luoyang.

Day 4
Shaolin Learn from the Masters in ShaolinYour guide and driver will meet you at the train station and drive to the Shaolin Monastery, to visit the legendary birthplace of Kung Fu.
Learn about the warrior monks of Shaolin and how martial art has changed over the centuries. Watch an athletic Kung Fu performance and then wander through the Pagoda Forest, where respected monks have been laid to rest in towering tombs since AD 791. If you are interested, there is an opportunity to join a Kung Fu class at the Shaolin temple.
We return to Luoyang in the evening, where we will explore the old town of the city on foot. As night falls, you’ll see thousands of colorful lamps light-up the streets and squares across the city, creating a lovely ambiance.

Day 5
Longmen Experience a Traditional Way of Life in Xi'anAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and drive to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Longmen Grottoes.
The steep limestone cliffs extend for almost a mile and contain approximately 110,000 Buddhist stone statues, 60 stupas and 2,800 inscriptions carved on steels.
In the afternoon, you will take a bullet train to Xi'an, where you'll visit one of the best-preserved old residences in Xi’an, dating back 400 years. The courtyard was once home to seven generations of the Gao family – notable officials of the royal court. Get a taste of traditional local lifestyle through original furniture, pottery, porcelain, and paintings before you'll take a walk around the Muslim quarter, lively markets, and the Bell & Drum Tower.

Day 6
Xi'an Marvel at the Magnitude of the Terracotta WarriorsFreshen-up, because today you will visit the Terracotta Warriors. You’ll learn all about this incredible archaeological finding, discovered in 1976 by farmers digging a well, after being buried for 2,000 years.
Three main pits are open for you to view, where just under 2,000 of the total 6,000 warriors – each individually sculpted from clay, with different costumes, heights, and even facial expressions – stand in battle formation.
You will then visit the ancient City Wall, the most significant and best-preserved wall in China, running over 13 kilometers around Xian.
The City Wall of Xi'an is the only complete wall that has survived in the country and is also one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. The chance to cycle on such an essential piece of history is one you won't miss.

Day 7
Chengdu A Different Side to China in ChengduAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer to the train station in Chengdu.
Upon arrival, your private transfer takes you to downtown to check in the hotel. After that, go to Kuanzhai Alley also known as “Wide and Narrow Alley,” which consists of three historic paralleled alleys from the Qing dynasty. Enjoy sticky rice cakes with sesame sauce, spicy chicken on a stick, sweet rice jelly, fried beef pancakes and, for the more adventurous, seasoned rabbit heads.
Get lost in the history and atmosphere of the area before heading back to your hotel for some rest.

Day 8
ChengduFrolic with Giant Pandas in Chengdu.
This morning, you will visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, where you're able to witness the conservation efforts being made to save this endearing endangered species.
There are only around 1,000 pandas left in the world, and 80% of them are found in the mountains in Sichuan. The pandas have over 600 acres of parkland to live in and you can get close to them to learn more about these majestic creatures. Watch them play, munch bamboo and nap.
Once you've finished frolicking with the adorable animals, return to your hotel, visit the Wenshu monastery before you will feast on a local delicacy, the Sichuan Hot Pot, for dinner.

Day 9
Longji Hike through Serenity in LongjiAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Guilin, where you'll be transferred to Lognji for your hike to the village Ping’ an.
The area is famous for its plethora of breathtaking views over terraced rice fields which cascade down, a descent of luscious greenery deep into the valley.
It’s in Ping’ an where you’ll need to pinch yourself to remember that you’re not dreaming. This picturesque and mesmerizing view is a reality, it’s bound to leave more than one memory imprinted on your mind and soul.

Day 10
Dazhai Bathe in the Tranquility of DazhaiAfter breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and begin your trek towards the village of Dazhai. Bring good hiking shoes and plenty of water as the hike will take approximately 2.5 hours.
Dazhai Village is a quaint yet picturesque village full of beautiful wooden stilt houses. It also offers some of the most incredible views of the Longji rice terraces below. The walk isn’t overly strenuous and not hilly. People with an average level of fitness will be able to complete it.
Those, not wanting to participate in the walk, can choose to relax at the hotel.
After the hike, transfer to Yangshuo, a resort town in southern China’s Guangxi region, known for its dramatic karst mountain landscape and outdoor recreation.

Day 11
Yangshuo Unwind in the Otherworldly YangshuoAfter breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and start a bike tour into the surrounding countryside.
Now’s the time to bathe in the peace and serenity of the area, while experiencing another way of life, unfamiliar with your own. The landscape itself teems with serenity, a scenic feast for the eyes.
You’ll head towards a local farmhouse for a delicious home-cooked lunch, before continuing on a hike up to Moon Hill, a very unique and natural arches. This interesting semicircular hole in the hill is all that remains of what was once a grand limestone cave.
With nothing planned for the evening, feel free to explore Yangshuo at your own pace and leisure.

Day 12
Hong Kong Say Farewell to China!All good things must come to an end, but we are sure you have enjoyed your time exploring the very best that these regions of China have to offer. The rich history, its magnificent natural beauty, and the people make the country what it is.
At an arranged time, you will be transferred from your hotel to Guilin train station to move on to Hong Kong, where you’ll be able to take your international flight back home.

It is revered in both Hindu and Buddhist legends, while its location, close to the sources of the four main rivers that flow across the Indian sub-continent, contributes to its mystique. Our adventure includes a weeklong journey from Lhasa across the vast Tibetan plateau. We plan to reach mount Kailash at the time of the Saga Dawa festival when many thousands of pilgrims from throughout Tibet gather to pay homage to the mountain. After the celebrations, we will undertake a three-day trek or Kora, around mount Kailash, with inspiring views of one of the world’s most iconic mountains, before the drive back to Lhasa and on to Kathmandu.

The improvement and integration of air and rail services in China have enabled this arrangement, combining the great cities (Beijing, Xi’an, and Shangai) with cruises through the dramatic Yangtze Gorges and the stunning scenery of the Li River. Home to the ‘Lat Emperor’ and the nation’s capital, Beijing’s greatest treasures are revealed at the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. The Great Wall was initiated by the first Emperor and revived during the Ming Dynasty against the invading Mongols. In Xi’an, the life-size Terracotta Warriors stand in formation, with no two faces alike. Sheer cliffs and steep, rugged mountains rise on either side of the turbulent, misty Yangtze, creating one of nature’s most marvelous sights. The river scenes are enlivened by stories and legends and encapsulated by poets and painters, immortalized in particular by the Tang Dynasty.
