Day by day Itinerary
Day 1
Beijing – GubeikouYour guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel, and then transfer to the Great Wall at Gubeikou. You’ll first receive an introduction and briefing from your guide about the terrain, the itinerary, and safety requirements. Gubeikou was a vital mountain pass that dates back to the 16th century, with 14 beacon towers, 143 watchtowers, 16 strategic passes, the majority of wall-building led by noted general Xuda in 1378, during the Ming dynasty and divided into four parts: Wohushan, Panlongshan, Jinshanling, and Simatai, The famous Gubeikou Great Wall stretches for more than 40 kilometers (25 miles).
Today’s hiking will start from Wohushan Great Wall, which is 665.2 meters above sea level. It is built in the Ming Dynasty with a full length of 13.6 kilometers, which contains a great many watchtowers. Wohushan Great Wall became a masterpiece in the history of building Great Walls for its long history, ingenious distribution, steepness, and complete facilities.
Check-in at a local farmer’s guest house near Gubeikou.

Day 2
Gubeikou –JinshanlingAfter breakfast, your guide will meet you at your guesthouse. Today, we will hike to Jinshanling. As you hike along with your guide, you'll see lush vegetation and learn how this part of the wall has crumbled because, in the 1950s, local farmers took bricks from the wall to build their houses. Pass by a local village and walk around the inner circle of the wall, which was the second defense in case the main wall breached. Continue walking until the late afternoon. Today, you’ll hike 7.5 miles (12 km) for a total of 4-5 hours, and will rest for 3-4 hours to take in the views and have lunch.
Check-in at an Erdaoliang Jinshanling guesthouse.
Day 3
Jinshanling -Simatai - BeijingAfter breakfast, your guide will meet you at your guesthouse. Today, we will be going to Simatai to experience both original and restored sections of the wall. Catch scenic views of watchtowers snaking along the mountain. Some of these 2-story and 3-story towers have flat roofs, others rounded, and others pitched with upturned eaves. You’ll hike for 7 miles (12 km) on the mostly paved ground, and there are a few stretches of unrestored pathways with stairs and steep gradients.
After the hike, head to a local farmer's restaurant to have lunch. Meet and chat with the farmers over a home-cooked Chinese meal and learn the surrounding community development.
End of tour.
Check-in to your hotel in Beijing or transfer to the airport for your next destination.

Mount Kailash Tour
Mount Kailash is said to be the mythical mount menu, the center of the universe. It is revered in both Hindu and Buddhist legends, while its location, close to the sources of the four main rivers that flow across the Indian sub-continent, contributes to its mystique. Our adventure includes a weeklong journey from Lhasa across the vast Tibetan plateau. We plan to reach mount Kailash at the time of the Saga Dawa festival when many thousands of pilgrims from throughout Tibet gather to pay homage to the mountain. After the celebrations, we will undertake a three-day trek or Kora, around mount Kailash, with inspiring views of one of the world’s most iconic mountains, before the drive back to Lhasa and on to Kathmandu.
Discover China Tour
The improvement and integration of air and rail services in China have enabled this arrangement, combining the great cities (Beijing, Xi’an, and Shangai) with cruises through the dramatic Yangtze Gorges and the stunning scenery of the Li River. Home to the ‘Lat Emperor’ and the nation’s capital, Beijing’s greatest treasures are revealed at the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. The Great Wall was initiated by the first Emperor and revived during the Ming Dynasty against the invading Mongols. In Xi’an, the life-size Terracotta Warriors stand in formation, with no two faces alike. Sheer cliffs and steep, rugged mountains rise on either side of the turbulent, misty Yangtze, creating one of nature’s most marvelous sights. The river scenes are enlivened by stories and legends and encapsulated by poets and painters, immortalized in particular by the Tang Dynasty.
