The climate is warm and pleasant all year round and the surrounding countryside has some of the most fertile land in all of Vietnam, with groves of coconut palms, banana and mango trees. Returning to pier, the cruise resumes down the river to Thoi Son Island, whereupon local boats are boarded to visit the island and explore the local people’s way of life and enjoy seasonal fruits.
