Day by day Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival DelhiYour guide and driver will meet you at the Delhi airport for a traditional welcome ‘Swagat’ and transfer to your hotel.
By the time your check-in is organized, our representative would introduce the tour file to you and hand over the tour documents.

In the afternoon, we begin with the visit of ”New Delhi”: We will first visit imposing minaret of Qutub Minar- A UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the same complex, you can also see some Mughal tombs and an iron pillar that dates back over 2,000 years. The pillar continues to mystify scientists who marvel at how it was cast to perfection. Next, we will be driven by the Rajpath, the passage in front of the government buildings of the British era, designed by Lutyens, including the India Gate (Gate of India) and the Presidential Palace followed by a visit to Gurdwara of Bangla Sahib. An experience to volunteer work/see people working in a common kitchen. Here, we will visit a large communal kitchen. Volunteers bake chapattis and cook rice and lentils for the devotees, Pilgrims or visitors. It is estimated that 10-15,000 people receive free daily meals from this temple.
(Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds the ancient with modern. Its strategic location was the prime reason why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. This city has seen the rise and fall of many empires and each dynasty of Kings has left behind monuments and memories to commemorate the grandeur of bygone days. Very few cities in the world offer such diversity in architectural styles as Delhi. The Old city of Delhi today stands as an epitome of the whole history of Indo-Islamic architecture. Qutub Minar, the way the minar reaches up towards the sky almost defies logic. Over 72 meters high, construction of this structure commenced in 1193 A.D. Gurdwara of Bangla Sahib, magnificent, huge, white-marble Gurdwara, topped by glinting golden onion domes, constructed at the site where the eighth Sikh guru, Harkrishan Dev, stayed before his 1664 death. The sanctum sanctorum is the main temple building that houses the Guru Granth Sahib. Raagis (classical singers) sing verses from the Holy Book throughout the day, adding to the overall spiritual experience.

Day 2
Explore Old Delhi & Evening walk in Lodhi gardenAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel, we start the tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi, visiting Jama Masjid. Take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, drive past Red Fort to reach Jama Masjid, located in the center of the old city. Continue city tour with a visit to Raj Ghat -Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial- a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation, India Gate. Post Lunch; visit Humayun's Tomb.
Moving further, ride through the streets of Delhi, until you reach the Lodhi Garden. It is a very beautiful and peaceful landscape with the help of grass, flowers and small lakes and is a hotspot and for walks. After the walk, have a cup of tea (chai) at the local shop in the middle of the garden (paid locally).
(Jama Masjid - the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built red sandstone and white marble in 1656 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest and best-known mosque in India. India Gate -built to commemorate the sacrifice of 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army during World War I. Humayun's Tomb - considered to be an inspiration for the Taj Mahal, the memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Lodhi Garden. This garden is spread over an area of 90 acres and contains the heroic tombs of Mohammed Shah and Sikander Lodi. Explore the beauty for 45-50 minutes. Smaller structures belong to the late-Mughal period as well.
Day 3
Delhi- Varanasi by FlightAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer to Delhi Airport for your domestic flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Later in the afternoon, you will leave the hotel for half a day sightseeing of Varanasi. Drive to Banaras Hindu University, a public central university organized into 6 institutes and 14 faculties (streams) and more than 132 departments. It is one of the largest residential universities in Asia, with over 20,000 students and visits the Indian art museum Bharat Kala Bhawan which is an art and archeological museum located at Banaras Hindu University. It has been instrumental in collecting art and is one of the important touristic attractions. Also, visit the various sacred temples of Varanasi such as Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Other important points to see in the city include the Durga Temple (monkey temple), Tulasi Manas Temple, Bharat Mata Temple (Mother India Temple). The afternoon is free to explore this holy city and its winding streets, ghats and mystical temples.
Thereafter, we take a boat ride on the Ganges River to witness the incredible evening of aarti (prayer) performed on one of the Ghats, before returning to the hotel.

It is a beautiful, resonant, and majestic spectacle with a very precise choreography involving rituals performed by several priests with the sound of bells, drums, cymbals, and Sanskrit mantras.

Day 4
Varanasi - Agra by Overnight trainEarly in the morning, we ride a boat to the Ghats just before dawn, we take a boat out on the Ganges to witness the amazing stream of events on the Ghats, the steps leading down to the river. The boat ride takes us past several Ghats of Varanasi, offering a glimpse of the city at its religious best. Return to hotel for breakfast, thereafter we drive 12 Kms to Sarnath, to visit Sarnath ruins and Museum. (Sarnath Museum- closed on Fridays). Later in the afternoon, our local representative will meet you at the hotel and will transfer you to the Railway station for the overnight train to Agra at 16:45 hrs. Overnight on Board.
Boat Ride- Every day, thousands of Hindu pilgrims and devotees visit this city to offer prayers, to meditate and to purify themselves by taking a dip in the holy river. It is at the Ganga Ghats where you can see life and death together. There are numbers of Ghat alongside the Ganges river in Varanasi, where you can see the Hindu cremation as well. Some of the prominent and popular Ghats at Varanasi are the Dasaswamedh Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Harischandra Ghat, and Assi Ghat. Watching rituals and ceremonies performed on the Ghats by devotees is a lifetime experience. Sarnath: the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon. The day before his death, Buddha pronounced the inclusion of Sarnath among the four most sacred Buddhist places for his followers. This makes Sarnath, one of the most esteemed Buddhist places. Later, we return to Varanasi. The rest of the evening is free to stroll in the market.
Day 5
Arrival AgraYour guide and driver will meet you at the Agra train station early in the morning (at 05:40 hrs) and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax for some time. Later in the afternoon, we will proceed to visit the massive Agra Fort, an imperialist fort situated on the banks of river Yamuna and served as the center of operation for the Mughal emperor Akbar. Later, towards the evening, we will visit Mehtab Bagh for an uninterrupted view of the Taj Mahal, It offers a view of the Taj Mahal from the other side of the river Yamuna. We spend the evening visiting the bazaar where some descendants of the families of the artisans (who worked on the Taj) continue to create wonders with marble called the fine marble- inlay work.
Agra grew in prominence under the rule of the Mughal Empire in 1526, reaching its zenith between 1556 and 1658, under the successive rules of Akbar, Shah Jehan, and Jehangir. Akbar's reign was memorable in the city's history when it became a leading center of art, science, commerce, and culture, drawing intellectuals and artists to its Darbars and Havelis. The Red Fort or Agra Fort, on the banks of the River Yamuna, is situated in the center of the town. Various styles of architecture are evident within the Fort and demonstrate the boldness of Akbar's period, the refinement of Jehangir's time, and the subtleness of Shah Jehan's rule. The other attractions here include The Diwan-i-Am, the Diwan-i-Khaas and Jodhabai's Palace. Taj Mahal remains closed on Every Friday.

Day 6
Agra – Ranthambore via Fatehpur Sikri : (300 kms/5-6 hrs)Early in the morning at sunrise, we visit the Taj Mahal, one of India’s incredible monuments. Experience the color-changing effects of the risings Sun on this incredible white marble monument. The Grandeur and beauty of the building exceed all human imagination. Later, we return to our hotel for breakfast then we will drive to Ranthambore. En-route, we stop at Fatehpur Sikri. After the visit, we continue our journey towards Ranthambore. Upon arrival, we will check-in at the hotel.
Taj Mahal - essentially one man's monumental testimony of Love, has become synonymous not only with this city but with India as a whole. The mausoleum was built by Shah Jehan for his Empress Mumtaz Mahal. The construction is believed to have taken 22 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working round the clock. The design and construction are said to be that of the legendary architect, Ustad Ahamad Lahori. The 17th century Taj Mahal is a marble mausoleum built by Shah Jehan for his Empress Mumtaz Mahal. Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted royal city constructed by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. This impressive and well-preserved citadel served as the political capital of Akbar for 14 years. In 1585, Akbar abandoned Fatehpur Sikri due to the dearth of water. The Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in the desert Indian state of Rajasthan is perhaps the best place in the world to photograph wild tigers. There is a large variety of animals and birds to be seen and photographed.

Morning and evening game drives at RanthambhoreAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel. The Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve in the desert Indian state of Rajasthan is perhaps the best place in the world to photograph wild tigers. We make two game drives into the park in Open Jeeps on seat sharing basis to enjoy unobstructed views of the animals and birds around; we take our first safari early morning in the park to try our luck in spotting the elusive tigers, though spotting the other species of wildlife is no less exciting and enjoyable and we have our second safari late afternoon after lunch in the park, trying to find the tigers and other animal and bird species once again. There is a large variety of animals and birds to be seen and photographed.
Day 8
Ranthambore- Jaipur (160 Kms/ 4Hrs)After breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and we drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, we check-in to the hotel. In the evening, we will go out exploring the colorful bazaars of Jaipur, The Bazaars of Jaipur, old and new, are so indulgent and fantastic that you can see them evolving through the years and how visitors and locals alike have been taken by surprise every single time.

Jaipur Sightseeing ( Meeting Locals)After breakfast, early in the morning, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel, we set out for an excursion to Amer Fort, passing by Jaipur’s most distinctive landmark ‘Hawa Mahal, commonly known as (Palace of Winds). Next, we visit City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Followed by our visit to Jantar Mantar, which is an astronomical observatory built by Jai Singh II. It is one of the largest and the best-preserved observatories in the country. Later, we will meet the local women artisans in Jaipur. With the help of local artisan women, we will learn the art of block printing, one of the oldest printing techniques in India. Here, we will make our handkerchief using Rajasthani woodblocks. Here, you'll have a chance to chat with the women and learn about their lives. Late in the evening, we will join a local Rajasthani Family for Dinner.
Market visits Followed by Cookery demonstration and Dinner:
We will walk through the streets and visit the local market and refresh the senses with the fragrance of fresh spices and vegetables. An authentic culinary experience starts with understanding the basic ingredients needed for creating the perfect dish. It starts by understanding how the spices and vegetables are picked by visiting a local market. Get a feed of how an Indian would purchase the ingredients to make the delicious Indian dishes. Relish this experience by enjoying the Indian Delicacies cooked by you with some help from the Local family. This Activity is followed by Henna's demonstration for females and Safa Tying demonstration for males. For the men, we have the Safa, a headscarf that is even longer than a saree! This multilayered turban will add some real color and splendor to your memories of Rajasthan.
Jaipur-(Amer) Famous for its massive Amber Fort, Amer was the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries. Hawa Mahal- a five-storied facade of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799, to allow royal ladies to watch processions and festivities on the road through its 953 ‘jharokhas’ or small windows, without being seen by the public. Jantar Mantar, a Solar Observatory built in the 18th century; an astronomical treasure house that measures time, according to the movement of the Sun to an error of just 2 seconds, with solar devices that give accurate astrological predictions as well till date. Among the various forts and palaces of Jaipur, City Palace stands apart, with its outstanding art and architecture. The Maharajah still lives in the Palace. You will also witness a collection of weapons belonging to the family.

Jaipur- Delhi Drive: TourAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and head to Delhi. You will be transferred to the international airport for your next destination.
