Day 1
YANGONYour Adventure Asia’s guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Your journey begins with an afternoon tour through Yangon’s colonial-style city center. Visit SULE PAGODA dating back over 2,000 years, the magnificent reclining Buddha CHAUK HTAT GYI and after a photo stop at the KARAWEIK HALL, a ’hamsa-bird-shaped’ barge on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake, stroll through the BOGYOKE (SCOTT’S) MARKET (closed on Mondays and public holidays), a compound of hundreds of food, garment, handicraft, and gem stores. Complete your Yangon impressions with an extended visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the SHWEDAGON PAGODA.

Day 2
YANGON – BAGANAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and transferred to the airport for a domestic flight to BAGAN. Upon arrival, start your day by visiting the most significant pagodas and temples of Bagan including SHWEZIGON PAGODA built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, BU LEI THEE TEMPLE noted for its panoramic view of the area’s numerous monuments and ANANDA TEMPLE with its four magnificent standing Buddha images.
After lunch (your account), learn the manufacturing way of Myanmar’s most treasured handicrafts and visit a lacquerware craftsman’s workshop in nearby MYINKABA village. Later, continue to MANUHA TEMPLE, built in Mon style in 1059 and explore the NANBAYA TEMPLE, a unique sandstone monument which according to legends used to be the palace site of King Manuha. Complete the day by watching the sunset over the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River from a temple top. Dinner is on your account.

BAGAN – MOUNT POPA – BAGANAfter breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and stroll through the busy Nyaung U local market and A 50 km drive (1½ h) will then take you to MOUNT POPA, an extinct volcano with spectacular views. Its shrine is dedicated to animist spirits known as ”Nats” and you will have time to climb the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the peak.
After lunch (your account), drive back to Bagan through typical Myanmar sceneries of small villages and local life.

BAGAN – MANDALAY - AMARAPURAAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer to the airport for domestic flight to MANDALAY. Upon arrival, excursion to AMARAPURA, 15 km from Mandalay. Visit MAHAGANDAYON MONASTERY, where more than a thousand monks live and study. Time permitting; you will have the opportunity to observe the monks having their last meal of the day in total silence. Continue to the 200-year-old U BEIN teak bridge built in 1782 when Amarapura was the royal capital. Already from the early days, the city was known for its silk- and cotton weaving.
In the afternoon, experience the sights and sounds of Mandalay including one of the most revered religious monuments in Myanmar, the MAHA MUNI PAGODA, the SHWE INBIN MONASTERY, the GOLDEN PALACE MONASTERY, a superb example of a traditional wooden building, and KUTHODAW PAGODA, the world's largest book made of 729 marble slabs on which the entire Theravada Buddhist Pali Canon is inscribed. Visit a traditional hand-woven silk workshop as well as a Kalaga tapestries crafts men's shop before proceeding to MANDALAY HILL for sunset.

Visit also an umbrella workshop and a Shan paper making family business.
After lunch (your account), drive to NYAUNG SHWE (90 km – 2½h) and transfer by boat to your hotel.

INLE LAKEAfter breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and start a full-day excursion by boat on Inle Lake. The visit will include sights of the famous leg rowers, typical floating gardens, and local methods of fishing, village life, and magnificent scenery. Visits are made to the PHAUNGDAW OO PAGODA, one of the most sacred shrines in Myanmar, dating back to the 18th century, NGA PHE MONASTERY with an impressive collection of antique Buddha images, the weaving village of INPAWKHON and one of the local markets in the Inle Lake region (on market days only).

Day 7
INLE LAKE – HEHO – YANGON – HANOIAfter breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and transfer by boat to Nyaung Shwe and continue the drive (32km 1h) to HEHO airport for domestic flight to YANGON.
Upon arrival, car and guide are at your disposal for further sightseeing until transfer to the airport for international departure flight to HANOI.

Your guide and driver will meet you at the Hanoi/Noi Bai International Airport airport and transfer to the hotel.

HANOIAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday, and entire October and November for annual maintenance) and his former residence, One-Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature. Lunch at a local restaurant.
An hour Cyclo tour to visit the Old quarter of Hanoi then drops off at Thang Long theatre for a water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. This art originates from rural festivals in Vietnam. The artists-men and women-stand waist-deep in the water to manipulate the puppets, making them move about, talk and laugh and even dance on the surface of the water.

Day 9
HANOI – LAO CAIAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and depart from Hanoi to Thay Pagoda (30 km southwest), home of the art of water puppetry. Proceed to Tay Phuong Pagoda to discover the wonderful collection of Buddhist statues dated from the 17th century.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit the Ethnological Museum, Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda and around West Lake.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Transfer to the Railways station for the night train.
Overnight on Victoria train, Superior 04-berth sharing cabin.

In the afternoon, a walking tour of the villages, then drive to Sapa, enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way leading towards Sapa, a mountainous area of stunning natural beauty and diverse ethnic minorities.

Day 11
SAPA – LAO CAI – HANOIAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and drive you along twisty roads to Lao Chai Village, 2-3 h walk thought Lao Chai Village to Ta Van Village. Visit houses, terrace fields of local people. Meeting with local people in the village (Dzay in Lao Chai and H’mong in Ta Van) and the discovery of their lifestyle. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, an ethnic minority village called Ta Phin, their lives the Dzao & H’mong. One hour walk through the countryside and visit the Ta Phin Cave nearby.

Transfer to the Railways station for night train to Hanoi.

Day 12
HANOI – ARRIVALYour guide and driver will meet you at Victoria train station and transfer to the hotel for breakfast. Free day at leisure.

Day 13
HANOI – HALONGAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer to Halong. Arrive in Tuan Chau wharf.
At noon arrive at Tuan Chau Marina- Halong Bay for check-in at Annam Junk, enjoy welcome drink and cruise briefing, safety instructions and check-in cabins. Annam Junk explores Halong bay.
13:30 – 14:30: Have lunch while cruising the exquisite waters sample the regions fresh seafood bypassing: Dog islet, Fighting Cock islet (symbol of Halong Bay), Hoa Cuong fishing village, Swan islet.
15:30- 16:30 -Go up to the Halong Bay View at Titop beach. You can take a nice photo of the Halong bay view. Enjoy swimming in the crystal water.
16:45 – 17:35: ANNAM JUNk will continue exploring the wonders of Halong Bay bypassing countless islands, visit Luon cave by boat or kayak.
18:15 – 18:45: Come back on a boat, you will have an option to become a professional Vietnamese chef with a cooking class. Learning one of Vietnam’s most popular cuisines (spring rolls) or refresh yourself in outdoor watch the sunset over the bay.
19:00 – 21:30 Enjoy a specially prepared dinner.
Evening activities, relax at leisure: Film entertainment in the dining room, join squid fishing from the boat with our crew, retire to your cabin and overnight on Boat. Annam junk anchor in the zone “ Drum Cave”, it is a few cruise and quiet zone for sleeping.

HALONG – HANOI – DEPARTURE6:30: Wake up to a very special morning with an organized Taichi class among the peaceful surroundings of Halong.
7:00 – 7:30 Enjoy the Breakfast with Coffee & tea, fresh juices, cakes.
7:50 – 9:00 Explore the well-hidden of one of the most beautiful caves on Halong bay “ Surprise Cave”. Walk up the 100 steps to the entrance of the cave and tour on foot for approximately 60 minutes.
9:30 Check-out cabins and settle bills.
10: 40 Lunch will be served while the ANNAM JUNK back to Halong harbor.
On the way back to Halong city, Annam Junk continues to explore Halong bay on the most wonderful route: Ga Choi Island, Binh Phong mountain, Man’s head island, Tortoise island.

This trip combines spectacular drives to three historically important valleys: the bustling capital of Thimphu; the tropical Punakha valley; and the open valley of Paro. We take a fabulous day camping trek to Bumdra monastery which includes a night in a wilderness campsite high in the Himalaya and a visit to the Taktsang Goemba or Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Our circuit uses less trodden mountain paths, where few foreigners have ever set foot, to eventually approach the monastery from our campsite above the clouds. The overnight adventure includes two picnic lunches, a camp dinner and breakfast, all tentage, sleeping mattresses, a first-aid kit and the services of experienced BTB guides and cooks.
