Day by day Itinerary
Day 1
UlaanbaatarYour guide and driver will welcome and meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Time to rest in your hotel. For lunch, we will taste the famous Mongolian barbecue in the traditional restaurant. Then, we will visit the religious center Gandan Monastery, the National History Museum, and the central square where we will discover the statue of Chinggis Khaan. At the end of the day, you will enjoy the folk art concert featuring traditional Mongolian dance and khoomii /throat singing/, followed by a dinner at your hotel. (The folk art concert can be scheduled on a different day due to the third party).

Day 2
Ulaanbaatar - Terelj National Park Via Chinggis Khaan StatueAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel. Departure to the majestic statue of Chinggis Khaan. After that, we will arrive at the nomad family in Terelj National Park. According to Mongolian tradition, we will be offered Suutei Tsai - the traditional milk tea with salt, as well as Aaruul -dried curd. At the end of the day, we prepare our dinner together: Buuz - Mongolian dumplings. Everyone can get their hands busy, a real moment of cultural sharing!

Day 3
Day 3: TereljAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the nomad family. Ulaanbaatar city is considered one of the coldest capitals in the world. Thus, just next to our city in 55 km, we will be doing dog sledding for a couple of days through the Terelj River. Imagine your breath freezes in the air. That means it will be a freezing adventure for the following days. Vigorous and aggressive dogs are waiting for us to show their swift ride. Now, it is time to sit on the sled or stand at the back to start our adventure. Hold well and stay on the sled!

Day 5
Terelj - Astronomy CenterAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the nomad family. It is a day to discover Terelj National Park, which starts with Turtle Rock, so nicknamed for its original form. Then we go down through the valley to join the Buddhist monastery of Aryabal. The ascent of the 108 steps and the reading of the sacred proverbs that punctuate them, emerge us into the special atmosphere of Buddhist monasteries. Arrived at the top, the panoramic view of the valley is worth it. Then we head to the Astrology Center of Mongolia to observe the stars and the Milky Way.

Day 6
Terelj - UlaanbaatarAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the astronomy center camp. The road will lead back to Ulaanbaatar, and we will arrive in the early afternoon. Visit a cashmere factory store, then you will have leisure time.

Yak is considered the most productive animal as its milk and meat is nutritious, fur is warm and it can carry huge loads on its back. Mongolians use the yak for moving and fetching water. The programs in the yak festival are fascinating to see; yak polo, yak race, rodeos, and beauty contest. As always, Mongolians put their best traditional clothes on to come and participate in this festival. There are many surprises and entertaining activities, thus it has become a favorite local event. In addition to the fascinating yak festival, you will explore Ugii lake, and the Tuvkhun temple and relax in the hot springs of Tsenkher.
