Day by day Itinerary
Day 1
UlaanbaatarYour guide and driver will welcome you to your hotel. We will taste the famous Mongolian barbecue in the traditional restaurant for lunch. Then, we will visit the religious center, Gandan Monastery, the National History Museum, and the central square, where we will discover the statue of Chinggis Khaan. At the end of the day, you will enjoy the Folk Art concert featuring traditional Mongolian dance and khoomii /throat singing/, followed by dinner at your hotel.

Day 2
Ulaanbaatar - Gun GaluutAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and then depart to the Gun Galuut Nature Reserve, renowned for its flora and fauna. Lunch in the tourist camp Steppe Nomads. In the afternoon, we are welcomed by a nomadic family, whose hospitality will make you wonder. In the nomad’s warm atmosphere, we will taste our first Suutei Tsai - milk tea with salt, and Aaruul - dried curd. Then, the discovery of the nature reserve, which is an important site to observe the life of the cranes. We can meet crus Virgo and the very rare crane white-naped crane (Antigone vipio). If we are lucky, we can even see ibex, which populates the region.

Day 3
Gun Galuut - Terelj National Park via Chinggis Khaan StatueAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the yurt camp, then travel to Terelj National Park. We stop first at the foot of the majestic statue of Chinggis Khaan. Then, the discovery of the national park starts with Turtle Rock, so nicknamed for its original form. Then, we go down through the valley to join the Buddhist monastery of Aryabal. The ascent of the 108 steps and the reading of the sacred proverbs that punctuate them, emerges us into the special atmosphere of Buddhist monasteries. Arrived at the top, the panorama view of the valley is worth it.

Day 4
Terelj National Park- Khugnu Khan Nature ReserveAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the yurt camp. We take the road to the Khugnu Khan Nature Reserve, which protects an ecosystem where the steppe meets a desert. We will go camel riding on the Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dune, also known as the "Semi-Gobi", which allows us to get acquainted with the typical desert landscape of southern Mongolia. Then, walk to the foot of Mount Khugnu Khan, to discover the ruins of a monastery hidden among the strange rocky forms.

Day 5
Khugnu Khan - KharkhorinAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the yurt camp. Today, we will discover Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire and prosperous center on the Silk Road in the 13th century, it played an essential role in the world's economic, political and social life. Adjacent to the ancient capital, there is a monastery “Erdenezuu,” which was built in the 16th century. Stones from the ruins of the ancient capital were used in its construction. It is often considered one of the country's most beautiful monasteries with great history. During the socialist period in Mongolia, most of the monasteries were destroyed. Despite these facts, the Erdenezuu monastery’s important temples were rescued. At the current time, it operates as a museum that makes most Mongolians appreciate.

Day 6
Kharkhorin - Khustain Nuruu National ParkAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the yurt camp. Today, we will visit the Khustain Nuruu National Park. Created in 1993, this park is especially famous for its successful reintroduction of Przewalski's wild horse, whose population today reaches about 450 individuals. Rangers from the park will navigate and try to let us see wild horses. The afternoon will be devoted to discovering the many specificities of traditional nomadic customs (visit furnished yurt, tasting and making traditional products, demonstration of sheep shearing, building yurt).

Day 7
Khustain Nuruu National Park - Nuuts TovchooAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the yurt camp. Today, we leave to the north. On the way, we discover typical Mongolian landscapes such as vast green steppes, intersected by high forest mountains. In the afternoon, we discover the monastery Aglag Buteel, built on the mountainside at the bottom of the Khangai mountain range. Once we arrive at the foot of the monastery, we immediately feel the calm and the serenity emerging from this sacred place.
In the evening, we participate in the process of cooking "Khorkhog" - the Mongolian barbecue. This Mongolian meal uses an original cooking method: in a large container, we put mutton, vegetables, and hot stones. Then wait for an hour. The result is unique!

Day 8
Nuuts Tovchoo - UlaanbaatarAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the yurt camp. A rare event awaits us today. Imagine hundreds of horses, gathered on the green steppes, next to proud Mongolian horse riders, determined to show us their talents. In the program: the capture of the horses with the aid of the Urga - a long stick with the running noose at the end and rodeo the breeder must be very agile to catch and ride these semi-wild horses.
After this hectic day, we will return to Ulaanbaatar.
In the evening, a Mongolian history presentation by a specialist will immerse you in the glorious past of the Mongolian people.

Day 9
UlaanbaatarAfter breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the yurt camp. In the morning, we discover the Zaisan Memorial, the glorious victory of the Russian-Mongolian army against the Japanese army in the war of 1939. It offers a breathtaking view of the entire city. Then, we will discover the Bogd King Palace. Lunch in a town.
Visit cashmere factory outlets. You will have free time after shopping which will allow you the opportunity to have a walk in the city center.
