Day by day Itinerary
Day 1
BISHKEKYour driver will meet you at the international airport “Manas” and drive to Chon-Kemin valley. It is the best place for acclimatization. Prepare for tomorrow's biking: unpack and reassemble bikes. Enjoy your leisure time.
Overnight at local guest house.
BISHKEK (627m)-CHON-KEMIN (1600m) (150km)
Day 2
CHON-KEMIN- KOCHKORAfter breakfast, start biking (20km) by gravel track to Kalmak Ashuu pass. Continue biking (30km) to Balykchy town by a gravel track. After passing Orto Tokoi Reservoir at 1700 m altitude, take a break for lunch. Then, drive by transport (60km) to Kochkor. Upon arrival at Kochkor, visit a local house, where it is optionally possible to make felt carpets.
Dinner and overnight at a local house with the Kyrgyz family.
Today's activities: 50km biking+60km transport at an altitude of 1600m.
Day 3
KOCHKORAfter breakfast, start biking from Kochkor (38km) by asphalt road to Sary Bulak. Break for lunch. After lunch, continue biking (32km) by a gravel track along the Tulek river.
Dinner and overnight in tents camp at altitude 2554m.
Day 4
NORTH COAST OF SON-KUL LAKEAfter breakfast, start biking 20km by mountain spiral road. After the descent from the pass, stop for rest and lunch. After lunch, continue biking (40km).
Dinner and overnight in the yurt at North coast of Son-Kul Lake in height 3016m.
Day 5
SOUTHERN SHORE OF SON-KULAfter breakfast, start biking (30km) to the southern shore of Son-Kul lake. Stop for lunch. After lunch, continue biking (30km).
Dinner and overnight in yurts at Southern Shore of Son-Kul at altitude 3016m.
Day 6
JANY-TALAPAfter breakfast, start biking 30km, ascend to Moldo-Ashuu, and descend from the pass. After the descent, stop for lunch and a rest. Continue biking 40km. Dinner and overnight in tents close to Jany-Talap village at altitude 3173m.
Day 7
AK-KIYA & KOK-JARAfter breakfast, start biking 30km, and cycle via Ak-Kiya and Kok-Jar villages. Stop for lunch and have a rest. Continue biking (more than 35km).
Dinner and overnight in tents under the pass at an altitude of 2005m.
Day 8
KAZARMANAfter breakfast, start biking to Kazarman 35km by a gravel track. Stop for lunch. After lunch, continue biking 30-35km by half asphalt half gravel road.
Dinner and overnight in tents close to the village at an altitude of 1338m.
Day 9
KARA-BULAK PASS – URUMBASH V.After breakfast, start biking by half-stony and dusty road (30km), an ascent to the Kara-Bulak pass, after the descent from the pass. Stop and have lunch. After lunch, continue biking (30km) along the Urum-Bash river.
Dinner and overnight in tents at altitude 1790m.
Day 10
URUMBASCH V. – JALAL-ABAD (774m.)After breakfast, start biking by half gravel and dusty track to Jalal-Abad 30km. Lunch en route. Continue biking 30km. Upon arrival at Jalal-Abad, dinner, and overnight in a local house at altitude 774m.
Day 11
JALAL-ABAD – OSHAfter breakfast, transfer to Osh city. Upon arrival at Osh, city tour: visit Suleiman Mountain and eastern local bazaar. Dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight in guesthouse
Day 12
OSH – DOSTUK CHECKPOINT - TASHKENTAfter breakfast, your driver and guide will meet you at your hotel and drive to the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border “Dostuk”. Uzbek guide with a driver will meet you after crossing the border. Transfer to Tashkent via Kamchik pass (2268m). Upon arrival at Tashkent, dinner, and overnight at the hotel.
Day 13
TASHKENT - KHODJIKENT - BELDERSAIAfter breakfast, your driver will meet you at your hotel and drive to Parkent village in the spurs of the Chatkal ridge (50 km, 1h). Start biking (45km. - 100 m. + 660m. -620 m. asphalt, dusty road).
Biking Parkent-Uchbau – Gazalkent. Transfer by coach to the hotel in the ski resort Beldersay (40 km).
Overnight at the hotel at an altitude of 1700m.
Day 14
BELDERSAI - CHIMGAN - KHODJIKENT - BELDERSAIAfter breakfast, start biking (35km, - 200m, 400 m, - 1030m, asphalt, dirt road, mountain trail). Biking begins towards Chimghan Track, climbing to the top of
Kyzyljar (1900m). Right, remain 200-meter cliffs Chimgansaya, here Akshuran pass (1730m). Arrival in Khodjikent. Transfer by coach to the hotel in the ski resort Beldersay (35km, 1 h).
Day 15
BELDERSAI - BUKHARA (train)After breakfast, start biking (25km, +50 m, -900m, mountain trail). The final day of biking is the most technically difficult - it’s a long traverse, along the northern slope of the ridge to the village of Beldersay. Transfer to Tashkent (65km, 1.5 hours). In the afternoon, there might be a walk in the city. In the evening, transfer to the train station. Night train to Bukhara at 20:55.
Day 16
BUKHARAYour driver will meet you at the railway station at 06:40 AM. Transfer to the hotel. Tour in Bukhara: Tomb Chashma Ayub Mazar (XIV - XIX centuries), Poi-Kalyan (XII-XVI centuries), Miri-Arab (XVI c.), Labi-Hauz complex (XVI-XVII), the mausoleum of the Samanids (IX - X centuries), madrasas Nadirdevanbegi (1622), The Ark (VI-VII centuries) - the citadel, where the ancient Bukhara started, Chor-Minor minaret (XVIII century).
Day 17
BUKHARA - SHAKHRISABZ - SAMARKANDAfter breakfast, we moved from Bukhara to Shahrisabz, and continue to Samarkand. Along the way, tour the ancient Shahrisabz: ruins of the Ak Saray Palace (1380-1404 years), Ensemble Doruttilyavat (XIV-XV centuries.) Ensemble Dorussiadat (XIV c.), a monument to Amir Temur, Kok Gumbaz Mosque (1435) Jami Mosque (1915), Jahangir mausoleum (XIV c.), Vending dome "Chor-su".
Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 18
SAMARKANDAfter breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and start exploring Samarkand the "heart" of Samarkand - Registan Square (XIV-XVI centuries) with 3 famous Madrasa: Dor, Ulugbek, and Tilla- Kori, grandiose cathedral mosque of the Bibi Khanum Mosque (XVc.), the magnificent mausoleum Gur Emir (XV c.), which buried Tamerlane, his sons and grandson Ulugbek.
Day 19
SAMARKAND - TASHKENTAfter breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and continue with sightseeing of Samarkand: Ulugbek Observatory (1420) - grandson of Tamerlane, known ruler and astronomer, Shahi Zinda (XI-XVIII c.) - Necropolis of Samarkand rulers and noblemen, consisting of a set of superb decorated mausoleums, exotic Siab bazaar. After lunch, drive to Tashkent.
Return to your hotel at Samarkand.
Day 20
DEPARTUREAfter breakfast, enjoy your leisure time at the hotel until check-out time, your driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to the airport for your next destination.

It’s greatly celebrated all over Kyrgyzstan. For instance, in the city of Bishkek, city authorities organize a big holiday, people set up yurts in public places and prepare traditional meals; like ‘SUMOLOK’ which is a very special meal cooked only for this occasion. Cooking takes almost 12 hours and can be lengthy, with 2 weeks of preparation. One can say this holiday is equivalent to New year’s importance.
